Setting your voicemail greeting for away status

That time of year is upon us once again, summer vacation!  Now for most staff and teachers it will mean no longer having to be within your classroom or office, but what will happen to your missed phone calls and more importantly, what will happen to any voice messages you might receive?

Changing your voicemail greeting message to something reflecting that you will not be available during the summer months to answer your phone lets the caller know that you are out, when you will be back and returning your calls, or whom to call in your absence.  To change your voicemail greeting do the following:

From your phone;
-dial *62
-enter your 6 digit passcode (if you do not remember it or you are locked out, please submit a help ticket)
-press 3 to change your greeting message
-press 1 to record the message
-press 1 once again to begin recording
-once finished with the recording press #

But what if you would like to know if you have any messages, but you do not want to drive all the way to the school?

A nice convenience with our phone system is the ability to retrieve your voice messages from any phone in the world.

To retrieve a message remotely:
-dial your direct phone number (not sure what it is, please ask at the main office or submit a help ticket)
-once your greeting starts to play press *

-now enter your 6 digit passcode and listen to your voice messages.
