Google Chrome tips

Did you know Google Chrome uses a lot of memory on your machine?

Are you experiencing "slow internet," or issues streaming video on BETV, YouTube or programs via AppleTV?

This may not be an internet issue.  If you use Google Chrome and have many tabs open, you are using a lot of RAM.

Here are a couple of solutions to help you with your tabs.  These are both available in the Chrome Web Store.

OneTab: (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/onetab/chphlpgkkbolifaimnlloiipkdnihall?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon) this feature allows you to collapse all your open tabs onto one tab and then just click them as you need them to re-open, and gives you 95% memory usage reduction!

The Great Suspender (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/the-great-suspender/klbibkeccnjlkjkiokjodocebajanakg?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon), will automatically put tabs to sleep until you wake them up.
